Of these four mini lessons, the candy drawing was the hardest because I had not had any art experience before this drawing and I didn't know what to do. the easiest for me was the expressive furniture lesson because it was easy to capture the feeling of confidence using candles.
I Developed My Art Making Skills
Did you learn new techniques or processes as part of the work for this project?
While doing this project I did, indeed learn new art techniques and processes trough the teacher and my classmates. For example, I asked the sub for help making the music note seem 3D and not just flat on a page. He was extremely helpful and helped me understand the pux
sh pull effect.
Did you gain skill with familiar materials?
I used charcoal for this project which I have only used before once. So charcoal is not a very familiar material. Even so, I did gain new skills involving charcoal shading and details.

We Collaborate
1. Did you ask another student for feedback during your work process?
1a. During the process of drawing thumbnail sketches and full page sketches through the final product, I was constantly asking the people around me for feedback and tips. The responses I got were very helpful in the process. I got tons of positive and negative but overall helpful feedback.
2. Did someone help you understand important information or inspire you?
2a. When I asked around for help and ideas, I usually got inspiration to make my work much better. For example, I asked one of my classmates about shading around the drumsticks and she gave me fantastic ideas on how to make it as realistic as possible. My teacher also gave me good ideas on how to make other aspects of my artwork more realistic.
